James Doolin and the Mob are a rare and precious thing in this day and age: a full-blown R&B review, with a horn section, a line of gorgeous and wickedly talented female backup singers, proper arrangements of classics by the likes of Wilson Pickett, James Brown and the stars of Motown, and a front man with boundless energy, a cutting and soulful voice, and the funkiest collection of suits imaginable. The band has been filling bars and dancehalls in Niagara Region since 2001, and audiences start to shake, groove and sweat the minute the band hits the stage.
