Paul Weldon (piano), Alan Sumpter (bass) and Mike Morrow (drums) have enjoyed playing their style of easy-going, swinging jazz together for many years. Their great repertoire ranges from main stream jazz and blues to bossa nova and other Latin rhythms, as well as standards from the movies and Broadway. The trio provides a warm, comfortable ambience as a musical background to congenial socializing and friendly conversation, as they play favourite familiar songs and always welcome audience requests.
Some recent comments about the trio’s performances:
The TO group was excellent. Really, they met all my expectations and I would
book them for another event. Adding the sax was a definite plus. I also had two of
my VPs inquire about the group. It was a perfect fit for this evening/venue at the
Carlu…exactly what I was looking for.”

“I wanted to let you know how much people enjoyed the band at our Winery
Opening. We had lots of comments about how tight you were and people really
enjoyed the singer as well. It added a lot to the ambience we wanted and you guys
are so great at playing loud enough to be heard but not so loud that guests couldn’t
enjoy their conversations.”

“Your professionalism was seen in so many ways. The volume was perfect for the
size of our condominium, so our guests were able to enjoy the music yet continue
their conversation. All requests were responded to and the group’s familiarity with
the tunes and musicianship was impressive.”
