Trio Grande tribute to ZZ Top
ZZ Top was formed in the Houston in 1969, and over the past 35+ years have thrilled fans and audiences all over the world with their brand of “blues roots and Texas humour”. Today they are considered pop culture icons. Known for their cartoonishly funny music videos, that featured Texas blues guitar, churning synthesizes and sequenced rhythms, hot rod cars and leggy models, ZZ Top turned the music video genre on it’s ear during the 1980’s and propelled themselves in rock history. ZZ Top has also been known for long beards, hats, cheap sunglasses, boiler suits and quirky dance moves that has been a signature of their live performances. ZZ Top is one of the few bands that can lay claim to the fact that the same three original members are still intact. Trio Grande strives to recreate the fun, the looks and the sounds of ZZ Top over the band¹s long history. Long beards, spinning fuzzy guitars, sequenced rhythms and of course cheap sunglasses are all part of the show. Trio Grande brings over 50 years of professional performance experience in its three members, and “leaves it all out on stage” at each and every performance. No matter what the event, Trio Grande is your link to the instantly recognizable music of ZZ Top. |
